AriiSmits undertook the detailed design and documentation for the refurbishment of Building J at Meadowbank TAFE campus for the TAFE NSW IT department. 

The project involved the design of an Activity Based Working environment for the IT department numbering one-hundred staff, and including meeting rooms, training facilities, and breakout areas. The move to an ABW design is a new way of working for TAFE NSW and the design team worked closely with all stake holders to effect an efficient change in TAFE's use of space in the IT department. 

AriiSmits were able to increase usable space by staff member and design the working environment to be more sustainable, space efficient, and cheaper to run for the life of the fitout. AriiSmits also designed the space in such a way to have a positive impact on staff health and safety.
