AriiSmits completed over $14 million worth of design projects in partnership with the Australian Red Cross Blood Service. These projects included blood donor centres across NSW and ACT.

The ARCBS projects were designed to blend several distinct environments together; clinical, laboratory, cold storage, commercial office, and client retail, this presented the unique challenge of creating a diverse space that did not feel disjointed or eclectic. AriiSmits was able to create an environment that supported all ARCBS business units in one space, while also focusing on those who were attending the centres as donors.

AriiSmits revolutionised the design and accommodation standards used by the Australian Red Cross and in doing so was able to unlock a raft of value adds for our client.

AriiSmits was able to reduce costs across the group of donor centre projects by creating a standardised specification and documentation package for contractors and sub-consultants. This also translated into a decrease in programmed time and resources, saving further money for ARCBS.
